Stingray WIP

I know I need to do some major blending with the water (the really dark area) and the sand (the lines are a bit too harsh) and add some fine details. I think this is the best drawing I have ever done, granted I am still recreating photos I find off of Google so the reference I am using is not mine, but I still think this is a really great piece even though it is not complete yet. It have been about 16 months since I have started drawing realistically, I began with really crappy self-portraits which I plan to do an updated self portrait soon. I showed my friend a progress picture of just the middle and right stingrays and she said she wanted it! I sent her this photo too and even though the sand isn't perfect yet, she still said she wanted it so that made me happy!
