This animation is very simple. I like how there is relatively a lot of movement. For a second try at animating, this is actually quite ...

I still have some old projects I want to finish and I want to test new materials and try different drawing subjects, but right now I have 3 main pieces I need to get finished. Those are as follows in order of most important and needs to be started/finished ASAP to I have time but want it done:

--9" x 12" Acrylic portrait of my friend and her boyfriend for her boyrfriend's birthday (both of their birthdays are early November, so ideally I would like to have this done by mid October, but considering I haven't finished the rough outline yet, I don't know the exact timeline yet.)

--9" x 12" Acrylic portrait of a Siamese for my dad's girlfriend (she never specified when she wanted it, but if I am finishing the one painting by November, I think tis one should be done before Christmas so it should end up as a Christmas present.)

--Art Trade of a Sphynx cat for a friend (this was supposed to be completed a LONG time ago, but I feel that this should also get completed somewhere between November and Christmas if I work on it while the paint dries.)

Hopefully college (and hopefully a job soon) won't affect my desire to draw and paint too much. I mean, I'm taking an art history class right now so it's still there, but knowing myself, I can easily become bored with my art projects, hence some unfinished stuff and the Sphynx drawing.

WIP for Art Trade
I shared an unfinished outline for this back in February 2016. It still doesn't have a finished outline, but it does, however, have some color to it. I don't know how many times I've done the eyes, but I have them at a point where I like them. The gray sections of the cat are so easy to color. It's everywhere else that is difficult. I only have a 36 set of Polychromos so I don't have many cool colors since my set has mainly warm colors. My only two grays are warm. That being said, it is very difficult to make a cool, slightly blue/purple undertoned flesh color that can somewhat look like the skin in the reference I am using. There are 9 separate colors in the ears alone. They actually have a lot of light blue (I don't remember the actual name) in them and it took a lot of erasing, layering, more erasing, bending with the eraser, more erasing, and more layering to finally get the ears to look how I wanted them. This drawing isn't exactly like the reference, I don't have that skill level yet, but I do like to try and color match whenever I am not using graphite just because I need more practice with color matching.

More progress with this will be slow considering I have started college AND have 2 acrylic paintings I have to actually do and finish before the beginning of November. Maybe in between layers of paint or while I wait for the paint to dry I'll work on this, but as of right now I'm in this mood where I want to draw and paint and stuff, but can't get myself to actually do it :/

Anyways, hope you like this progress shot! :)

Leopard's Eye -- Fur and Eye Practice
I am very leased with how this turned out. I wasn't even really paying attention to the little sketch since I was watching TV at the time. I'm not sure if you can tell or not, but African Leopards are my favorite animals (hence the "Leopard" in my name) so I wanted to draw the fur of an animal I wouldn't mind staring at for so long.

I have not really been doing much art, but I plan to do some sketches of other types of objects just as building, landscapes, and so on. I want to practice using some of the art materials I haven't used before, but I am not sure when I will get around do doing this because my sister recently adopted a dog and he's my main focus at the moment.

Hi! I'm Jennifer.
My preferred method of creating art is using graphite pencil and recreating photographed references.
I also have started to dabble into colored pencils, acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolor, pastels, and sculpting. I also used to solely do digital art, which I still have some pieces in my gallery, but for now traditional is easier to do.
I know I am not the best at drawing, but I do see tremendous improvement form one piece to the next. I hope to become a good enough artist to be able to see a finished piece and not point out things wrong with it (although that day may never come).
I hope that whatever I create is something that people like, and that is all I hope to achieve when creating art. :)

Thank you so much! Sorry this is such a late response. I have been busy and am slowly working on new pieces. I currently have one being developed and only about half the preliminary outlining is done. I have two requests for a friend (the same one I drew recently) and one of those requests will be on an 18" x 24" piece of paper so that should be fun. I also got a set of Polychromos that I will be doing the first one I mentioned above instead of pencil as an art trade ^^' sorry that was really long too

I sent an angel to watch over you last night but it came back.
I asked "why?"
The angel said "angels don't watch over angels."
Twenty one angels are IN your world. Ten of them are sleeping, Ten are playing, one is reading this message.
Send this to ten friends including me. I guess if I don't get it back I'm not one of them. As soon as you get five replies, someone you love will quietly surprise you.
Please read, not joking. God has seen you struggling with something. God says its over. A blessing is coming your way.
If you believe in God send this message on. Please don't ignore it. You are being tested. God is going to fix two things BIG tonight in your favor. DROP Everything and pass it on. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. Don't break this chain.
Send to 14 friends in 10 minutes. It's not that hard. )
